When environmentalism clashes with the environment

Not to mention the CO2 released by the concrete used in the construction of the dam and the methane generated over the life of the dam. Hydo has an undeserved green image; the methane alone cancels out almost all the positive effects of the power station.
Better off with wind, solar and tidal; at least these don’t do so much harm to the environment.
