Vermont Law Puts Clean Energy on Offense
June 17, 2009 – 18:14Vermont has passed a new law that forbids local ordinances, deed restrictions, covenants, declarations or similar binding agreements from prohibiting directly or indirectly the use of solar collectors, clotheslines and “other energy devices based on renewable resources.” The principal limitation is that homeowners must respect certain restrictions regarding location of the solar collectors on the roof as long as those restrictions do not impact the effectiveness of the solar
